Priority Placement

Across the Galaxy has a great and diverse player pool filled with characters that have different backgrounds and bring unique skill sets and personalities to the table. In order to give everyone a fair chance at playing, players will be able to take advantage of "Priority Placement". This status is referred to as "priority" for short.

To be eligible for priority status, you must meet one of the following conditions:

  • Be a new player to Across the Galaxy
  • Have not played in the last two sessions

A player with priority status will be eligible to replace a session attendee that does not have this status.

The priority player must be able to confirm they will attend the session and request replacement more than 24 hours before the scheduled session.

A player that voluntarily gives up their slot for a priority status player will gain 10 XP for the character they chose for the session. This will be recorded in that session's summary notes.

Priority status players are not eligible to give up their slot to another player to obtain this XP. Should this occur, the player will be replaced without any benefit.
